A contact lens exam is conducted during or after a general eye test. We firstly assess if you are suitable for contact lenses according to how you use your eyes and your prescription, and tailor a contact lens solution that is right for you and your budget.
If you are a first time wearer to contact lenses, we will teach you how to insert and remove the contact lenses, as well as the care that is required for the particular type of contact lenses you need. We will always ensure that you are comfortable with the contact lenses and confident with the care before you go!

Coloured contact lenses can be used to enhance your eye colour, and is possible regardless of if you require glasses or not. Coloured contact lenses come a variety of colours and shades with flexible wear times that allow you to put them on for special occasions or everyday!
To discuss your suitability to coloured contact lenses, we will first conduct a general eye test to assess that your eyes are suitable. From there, we can recommend the correct coloured contact lenses and teach you how to insert, remove and care for them.
If you've tried contact lenses a few years ago and found them to be uncomfortable, dry or you just couldn't perfect the art of popping them in - don't fret! Even in the last six months, there have been significant developments in materials used in contact lenses, meaning that if you have dry eyes, astigmatism or a high prescription - there is almost certainly a lens that will work for you. theeyecarecompany optometrists are also experts in lens insertion and removal. It may take a few lessons, but we're very patient!
